Obituary For Sherrie Delia Swenson

Sherrie Delia (Cote) Swenson 69, of Tacoma Washington peacefully departed her temporary home on October 8,2021, she was surrounded by family. All though she will be deeply missed there is comfort in knowing she is going to be with the lord, her many family members and her friends in Heaven.
Sherrie was born in Bremerton, Washington on December 19, 1951 to Leo S. Cote and Alice L. (Sasse) Cote. She was the youngest of 12 children. She has two surviving brothers Lenord and Rusty. Nine siblings greeted her in Heaven Arthur “Art”, Norman, Martha “Marjorie”, Corene, Doris, Delores, Betty, Carol and Nancy.
Sherrie met her husband Clark David Swenson in Sumner, Washington. They married December 7, 1974 and together they raised 3 children, William Leo Swenson, Tara Dee Swenson and Beverly Rae (Swenson) Roberts.
Sherrie is survived by her husband and 3 children. 14 grandchildren; Jamie, Leo, Sienna, Braxton, Ezekiel, Malachi, Fanta, Emiliano, Jaun, Adriel, Sierra, William, LauraLye, Keegan and by 6 great grandchildren; Alaiya, Alora, Hendrix, Rowan, Evelynn, and Elani. And by extended family Mary and Anarosa Gonzalez.
Sherrie loved nature. Her flowers, plants and bird feeders brought her much joy. She loved sitting out on the back patio taking in the morning sun with her two dogs, Yoda and Bear. She also loved going on adventures, especially if they included a casino. But most of all she loved her large, growing family and took a lot of pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an amazing mom due to her large, forgiving heart, and she welcomed many extra kids into her home. Many of them still hang around to this day. She was an amazing mother and wonderful wife. She will be deeply missed.
